304 vs. 316 Stainless Steel
- 304 Stainless Steel Tanks — A versatile, cost-effective option with strong corrosion resistance, well suited to food processing, water treatment, and many chemical storage applications where moderate resistance is enough.
- 316 Stainless Steel Tanks — Built for tougher environments, particularly those with chlorides or other aggressive chemicals. 316 offers better resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion — a strong choice for harsh chemical service, marine applications, and pharmaceutical processes.
We also fabricate in duplex stainless steel and custom alloys based on your specific requirements, and any of our stainless steel tanks can be enhanced with an additional lining if your application calls for it.
